Vicky, I just found this obituary and I am so very sorry for your loss of this wonderful man. Even though we haven't been in touch these past 17 years, you and he have always had a special place in my heart. I remember the laughs and his great smile, and true love for you.

I am sure thinking of all the wonderful times we had together with you two. He was truly a fine gentleman and I will miss him. Take care of you like he would.
I will write soon.

Bob was always interested in the people around him. Whenever we gathered, he was not only attentive to meeting our needs, but he asked about each of us. He was truly interested in us, our challenges and our successes. He was 'old school', caring more about others than himself.
