He was my morning light at the lab. May the angels carry him softly in their arms and may memories help heal your heart. He will be missed by so many of us at university hospital. Prayers to your family

Rod was one of my first bosses at my first job out of college. He was so patient while he taught me the ropes, and had such a great sense of humor... if it weren't for him I might not be where I am today. My favorite Rod quote was when one of his clients was saying how he felt he paid too much in taxes. Rod said, "Well, I've got a two-step process to make a lot of money and not pay any taxes. Step 1 is to make a lot of money... and step 2 is to not pay any taxes."

Paula, my heart aches and is broken for you. Rodney was a light in my morning at the cancer center lab. He loved bringing your treats and I will always remember his smiling face. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May he rest in gentle peace.
