Tim was one of the people I most looked up to as a young woman and who I most respect as an adult. He was kind, steady, and strong. I am deeply saddened that my daughter will not get to continue to train with him as she grows up, since he instilled such important lessons in his gymnasts. His lessons went far beyond doing gymnastics and are ones we can all benefit from, like striving to grow, facing your fears, having self-confidence, and caring for yourself.

My condolences to his family and friends for their terrible loss.

To the entire family of Timothy Frye, Jr.: We go way back to a time when we were small children - our mothers were best friends. I have wonderful memories and photos of our times spent together. I personally feel blessed and honored to have known Tim. Growing up I had so much respect for Tim who appeared larger than life to me. As I grew into a woman and understood more about life, I used to look at him and think, he exemplifies a real man. He was a man of stature, not only his outward height, but he was a man of great integrity, honest, kind and loyal. We could count on Tim - he was reliable and always kept his word. I never had a negative moment with Tim. He was a humble man with a huge smile whose life was all about his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am profoundly saddened that he is gone, but I rejoice because of my faith in Jesus Christ, I know that we shall all be reunited one day. I love you all. Lorrie, Debra, Kimberly, and family, be encouraged while lifting your eyes unto the hills from which cometh our help, our help comes from the Lord!

I will forever remember how good he was at judging gymnastics meets. How I knew him was through his judging and relationship with Gymnastics Unlimited. He was my favorite judge out there. I will never forget how kind he was in his scoring. I am a gymnast who is still competing, but now, I will think of doing my best for him. I am praying for all his family over the loss. I know that in the heart of the Xcel teams, he will never be forgotten.
