I remember all the fun times I would have going over to uncle Bill and Lee's house when I was little. Bill was a good person and liked to listen to me when I was a small kid. He would always find time to play with me, and when I would go and see him and Lee at the salvage yard, he would put me on the counter giving me candy. As I got older he still had time for me and was willing to help a with any problem I had if he could. He was a great man and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Great Uncle Bill, I did not know him well, but knew him to be a kind and gentle man. Soft spoken, strong and well loved by his family. I only recently learned the story of his true devotion to caring for his brother and mother. To have lived so admirably in the service of a loved one is the mark of a truly good man. It is said that life is a gift from God, and what you do with that life is your gift in return. For a life well lived...now a rest well deserved. God Bless.

It would have been 40 years in September when I meant Uncle Bill and the rest of the family. From that moment, I fell in love with the Cotter family. Playing cards, and dice after going out for dinner, was the highlight of our many trips to Denver. Uncle Bill thank you for being so kind and loving to my daughter's and to me. I will miss you, but I know I will see you and the rest of the family.

Thank you, Uncle Bill, for being the best "papa" in the world while my "papa" Jim is in heaven. I will miss sending you a greeting card each month, but am happy to know that you have so much family to greet you now. We will see each other again! Love you so much!
