I enjoyed babysitting the three oldest children and having interaction with Glen and Pat. My prayers are with the family

Ron, Jeff and Families,

Please accept our condolences at the passing of your father. He was always a breath of fresh air and I always looked forward to him coming into our office to get pricing for us on a project. You always knew that he would fill his obligations and complete the projects he was contracted on. He was an honest man whom I enjoyed working with.

We first met Glen and Pat and their family when they moved to Draper and started to build their home. Glen first made the long shed into a temporary home for them while he built the house. I was amazed at his construction skill. He could build or fix anything. So one day I offered to help him. The house was still in the rough walls stage. He was fun to work with that day and I learned some skills which enabled me to build my own separate garage sometime later, and Glen wired it for me. But we have always thought of this experience as an example of how friendship and love can come through service. We became friends from that day on. Over the years he fixed any furnace problem we had, and when we were in need of an air-conditioner, we got the family discount.
Pat, too was a good friend, someone we could discuss deep gospel subject with. She loved the spiritual and would share her insights and collections of poetry in ring binders as gifts from time to time. On occasion we went to dinner together.
Our daughter Diana, now living in Louisville Kentucky, was a best friend with Patti for a time. Diana has a married son Kenneth, who is an airman, and a 15 year old son living at home. Her and her husband Perry run a construction business.
We have many fond memories of Pat and Glen as we were growing our families, side by side. I especially enjoyed being the young men's leader when Ron was a Teacher, and we made a movie about a Volkswagen, and Ron was the engine. We had to feed him treats for gasoline. Those were fun times. Thanks for those wonderful memories Glenn, Pat and family! We love you and are sorry to miss the funeral, and had planned to come, but had appointments we could not change.
Love, Orla, Karen and Pedersen family. Glen and Pat are our heroes.
P.S. Glen was incredible strong and enduring.
