So sorry to hear of Betty's death. My prayers are with the family.
November 10, 2017
When I was growing up, I heard the name Betty Jane quite often. She was my mom's cousin and was born just a few months after my mother. I believe they spent a lot of time together when they were kids, and possibly as teenagers. I'm fairly certain she and Lawrence visited our home a few times when I was a kid, but in those days I didn't pay much attention to grownups. They were always busy visiting with my mom and dad. Over the years, I must have seen Lawrence and Betty at a few Kleinfeldt reunions. If we had conversations they were short ones, but I always remembered what nice folks they were. I'm sorry I never took the time to get to know them better. Those who did, I feel, were very lucky to have had Betty and Lawrence in their lives.

Janet, I'm not sure if you remember me. We went to Douglas Elementary together. I want you, and your family to know, my heart goes out to you all, and i will keep you in my prayers. I lost my mom 18 months ago, and miss her so very much. I remember stopping by your home, from time to time, after school. I do remember just how humble your family was. Its funny, as we were raised by such good parents. My parents led by example, raising us. I have always said, I had the best parents, and childhood, a kid could ever have. I can't wait to see her again in heaven. And I know you all feel the same, about your parents.
Take care, and, again my prayers and thoughts are with your family at this time.
