Dear Jeannie,
I just received a note from Sister Mary Collette Rist and she told me that Gail had died.
I was so sorry to hear that news. I have many happy memories of Gail as we were growing up. We used to play together. I loved her like a sister. Your dad and Gail visited us once in Leadville, Co. It was as if we had never been apart. I am so sorry for the loss of such a good person. Gail always looked on the positive side of life and was an inspiration to everyone she met. I know she is with her buddy God . God bless you,

To Gail's Family and Friends,

Her's was a life of generosity and caring. Her commitment to make the world a better place never allowed for discouragement. She had great heart which she infused into every moment.

I was personally blessed to know Gail, to correspond with her and to speak to her. She was an essential member of our presidential campaign and gave her all in a manner which was and continues to be inspiring. It is humbling to have supporters like Gail.

A testimony to her courage and her dedication is that she continued to volunteer for our ongoing efforts even when illness had taken a toll. She will be long remembered, always appreciated and greatly loved.

Sincerely,

Dennis Kucinich

Dear Jean and Family,
I was so sorry to read of Gail's death. Although I did not know her at all, I know that this is a real loss for you. Please know that I am thinking of you at this difficult time.

It is hard to imagine running Dennis Kucinich's presidential campaign without Gail. She was always available, always cheerful, and always engaged and responsive in ways that supported right human relations. Gail's light shines brightly ~ we have only to look upward ~ as she takes her place among the angels. May the celebration of a life well lived bring peace to all.
