Jordan Alexander Louis, 20, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013, at Iles Funeral Homes-Dunn's Chapel in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Dunn's Chapel.
Jordan was born on October 28, 1992, in Des Moines, Iowa to Mark and Denise (Unruh) Louis. He graduated from Valley High School and was attending the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.
Jordan was a very kind, intelligent and caring person. He always brought a smile to anyone he met. He enjoyed watching college football, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Jordan will be missed by his parents, Mark and Denise Louis; sister, Jessica Louis; grandparents, Dennis (Diann) Unruh of Lincoln, NE and Jim (Sue) Louis of Carroll, IA; great grandmother Marie Speyer of Carroll, IA, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, good friends; and his dogs, Zoey and Gracie. Jordan was preceded in death by his great grandparents and cousin Brooks.
As an eye and tissue donor, Jordan, gave the gift of himself to others. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League and/or Chris Norton Benefit Account. Online condolences may be sent to IlesCares.com.
