MR Lacey Spriggs was one terrific teacher at Benjamin Franklin Jr. High in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1956. He had the nicest calming voice, and ALWAYS had time to help a student with....anything, from giving heart-felt advice to going out of his way to actually assist in whatever the student was worried or upset about. There are throngs of now adults that will always have warm feelings for MR. Springgs

Mr. Sprigs was an absolutely classy person and teacher at Franklin Junior High. I'm remembering him from 7th to 9th grade back in 1956 to 1959....and his basketball skill when the teachers played against the ninth graders. He set a very fine example of an education professional. Sympathies to his family. Jim Watson....Ashland, Oregon.

Delores and family, Mr. Spriggs was my principal at Washington Irving Junior High. He always made students feel welcomed. I just recently saw him and Delores at Prarie Meadows last May. He was all smiles talking about his family. He will be missed.
