Such a nice man......he will be missed by all.
January 12, 2019
I played against him in Corning high school and played for him at Southwestern. He was a great baseball coach and person. We used to steal his bag of Redman chewing tobacco and pass it along the bench while he was coaching third base. We would always deny doing this when he accused us and thought we pulled a fast one on him, but in hindsight we were the naive ones. One big lesson in life was when he asked my buddy if he could go in as relief pitcher and get us out of a bad inning. My buddy said " I don't know coach, but I will try." Coach Fox said "Dammit, if you don't know, then I want someone in there who knows they can. " Then he looked at me and asked me if I could? After hearing his response I replied, " Yes sir! (it was a good life lesson in meeting problems with a confident attitude)
I am glad he was a part of my life experiences.

I'm really sad to hear this. Fox was one of the most influential people in my life. Not just a coach but he was like a father and a friend. He did so much for me and helped me move on from SWCC to further my basketball career and education. Everyone knew Ron "Fox" Clinton. A dedicated career to Creston high school and SWCC. I didn't stay in contact like I should have over the years but I thought of him always. I loved Coach Fox and I will miss him. My condolences to Ruth, Deb, Carol and family.

Our Heavenly Father has given us a life span of 70-80 years if we are especially strong. May you celebrate a life well lived and loved by many. May the words of Psalm 90:10,14 bring comfort to the family.
