Casey was my dad, though in our family we called him "Pop" Passing at ninety-four and a half years of age, his goal was to live to one-hundred. I believe he packed at least one-hundred years of courage, hard work, love, care and kindness into the time he had. I won the lottery when he, my birth mom Betty, and after she passed my step mom Virginia were my parents. Simple as that.

Casey was, and remains, my dad, though in our family he was, and remains "Pop". Ninety four and a half years young when he passed, his goal was one-hundred years. As far as I'm concerned he made it by easily packing one-hundred years of kindness, hard work, love and care into the time he had. He lived and passed bravely, usually with good humor. I won the lottery when he and my birth mom Betty, and after she passed, my step-mom Virginia became my parents. Simple as that.

My dearest Uncle, I will miss our phone calls and the discussions of the day. I will miss you very much. You have been a wonderful link for me to my mom, your sister, Stephanie. Rest in Peace, Uncle Casey. You live in my heart. Say hi to my mom for me.
