On behalf of my mother and I:

He was brilliant, kind, patient, and so handsome! We looked up to him for advice and support and were always in complete awe of him, as much for his personal accomplishments as for his total career success . He was always there for his family. No matter how busy he was, he would take the time to call us weekly. When his mother was alive, she frequently call the local doctor for medical attention and appointments, and the doctor would never charge her out of respect for the fact that her son was a doctor.

He was also never was too busy to remember his humble beginnings. We cherish all the great memories and interesting stories he would tell us about his early life in Rentina, Greece, and the miraculous feats he undertook as a Greek soldier.

Love you forever,

Sister Penelope
Niece Kathy
