I am shocked, in disbelief, and deeply saddened.
I spoke with Howard about a week ago as he was riding the train back to Boca from a work meeting.
Howard was a great colleague - a real "Salt of the Earth" person.
I worked with Howard when he managed the ShoreTel account. We had so many good times together at conferences, meetings, etc.
Because of him - my job was 100 times more enjoyable than without him.
Outside of work we developed a friendship around investing and a football rivalry.
My deepest condolences to the family -
I had lunch with Howard and Alex in Florida when Howard brought him along for a conference.
I miss you Howard and will cherish my memories of you.

My sincere condolences to Howard's family who I know he loved and cared for very much. Yes, a consummate Michigan fan, but his priority was family and he also loved art. These were the things Howard held as important, precious and beautiful. I enjoyed Howard for his compassionate and equally sensible qualities as we toiled together on another shared interest, doing business. Miss you already Howard, you were a good man.

Karen, Alex and Addie, I am SO sorry to be seeing this! I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. He had such a great laugh and loved you all so much! I am thinking of all of you and hoping you are with each other to hold and love.
