Dear Enerson Family,

It is with great sadness to learn of Jim's passing. We have had the pleasure of knowing Jim for 20 years. We met on Bald Eagle lake when Jim made the mistake of offering to pull our son Jon and his friends behind his boat. Those boys drove Jim crazy wakeboarding just about every day the summer of 2001. Jon and Jim became special friends and Jim taught Jon a lot. Jon used to help Jim back in his snow plowing days. Jon moved to Florida, but Jim and I became very good friends. Like many, I also found Jim to be one of the smartest people I ever met. His depth and range of knowledge on so many different subjects was amazing. I hired Jim at Gibbs Technologies and Jim's mechanical skill was a great asset to Gibbs. Jim worked on some the most complex marine, automotive and off road technologies ever when he helped bring amphibious craft to market. He was a great mechanic, tradesman, manager and without a doubt one of the hardest workers ever. Our entire family will always remember the special friendship we had with Jim and will miss him dearly. Our heartfelt sympathy to the Enerson family.

We knew Jimbo for 30 plus years. Even though we didnt see him often he was a true friend. Always there if we needed him and vise versa. We loved the long conversations by phone and they always ended with Well, anyway. We always looked forward to meeting his new pups and seeing the love and pride he had in each and every one of them. He was by far the smartest person we have ever met. He never boasted his intelligence, he just always knew the answer and could fix anything. We will always cherish the 4th of July parties on the lake, his delicious green beans and most importantly his friendship. We love you Jimbo and we promise to remember the good times not the bad. Peace be to you dear friend. We will never forget you.
