Oh my dear Aunty Margie, How am I ever going to get over not being able to visit with you each visit I make to Detroit? When I eat potato pancakes you'll ever be on my mind. And, oh, do you remember those Day After Christmas mornings when I would pick you up at 5:00 a.m. and we would stalk the sales at Frank's Nursery Christmas decoration half-price deals and simply steal the "house". We were never satisfied with shopping at just one!!! We had to hit 4 or 5!
Remember my 1:00 a.m. visits when I knew you were just getting home from work and doing your routine stretches. Your coffee was the best! While living in the suburbs of Chicago I ran into a deal on aluminum stock pots so you asked that I bring a dozen so that you could dole them out. Well, you changed your mind so I had to return them to the store, back in Chicago!!!

A big heart and a shoulder to cry on. You always admired and expressed how happy you were that I was so independent. That much we had in common as I lost my parents, as you did, so early in life.

Rest in peace, my dear! I am happy for you as you wanted the end to come quickly. You;re not gone but just in another room and we'll see each other again and you can then show me the "sale" places in Heaven! XXXDiana

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. Mitch and Kathy Kurkowski are good friends of our's and we are very sadden to hear about the passing of Mrs. Kurkowski. She sounds like she was a beautiful person.
Deepest Sympathy,

Maudi always loved a good hug. I would make sure the moment I saw her that she got one. She would always make me laugh because she would ask for me for more during any gathering. She always referred to me as a hugger. I'd tell her that I already gave her a hug and she'd tell me I know but, get over here and give me another. It was a game that will be missed greatly. She was a sweet gal and a joy to converse with. Her concerns were always of others well-being. Maudi, we know the good Lord is hugging you now. Thank you for being an example of love and compassion for your family and friends. You were a blessing to all our lives.May you have eternal rest.
