Gray "Duck" Mather
Grosse Ile - Age 89, November 23, 2017 of Grosse Ile. Beloved husband of Lee and the late Mary Lee. Loving dad of Zhanna (Steve) Kohen, Margaret (John) Pearson and Natalie (Jim) DeAngeles. Dearest grandpa of Jimmy, Christine, Michael, Sara, Aaron, Brodie and great-grandpa of Connor, Tessa, Ethan and Bennet. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. We loved Gray. So sorry, Lee and family, for you loss. So glad we have one of his paintings and will always think and pray for him fondly for the times we had together. Wish there had been more. Rest in peace, beloved Gray.

Gray was always a gentleman. During the decade he took classes from me at WCCC, he remained a friend to me and everyone in the many classes he attended. He was a natural artist who painted with both energy and skill. He is missed.
