Dear Gino & Irene:
This is Bob Olsen the once little boy that was your neighbor in the 1960s. We visited a couple times with your mother, Cataldina & Irene about 4 or 5 years ago.. Both her & your father were outstanding people. They were always great neighbors & my parents, Ole & Ginny remembered them well after they retired to Northwest Arkansas. Proof of their wonderful life was their wonderful son & daughter. May God comfort you with your memories of them. My wife, Mary Ann was very touched by your mother's personality.
Sincerely,
Bob Olsen

Dear Catherine,
I will miss you dearly, especially our week-end telephone conversations. I have always wished that we lived closer to each other. I have many wonderful memories of my childhood visits with you, Etzio, Gino and Irene. I loved your homemade Italian cooking. I will never forget Etzio teaching us how to make Italian sausage and all of our relatives having dinner in the basement listening to music from the jukebox. So often I miss my Italian family. Carry my love and greetings to all that are in Heaven especially my sister Renee.
I Love You,
Celeste

My Sweet Catherine, It is a sad day when we will no longer hear your voice, smell your delicious food cooking and hear your Italian voice and laughter. So many memories. Loved it when you visited in Ca. Loved eating your Gnocchi. Loved when we visited you and you and Etzio bought the girls their first snow boots. Gino and Irene were in their teens. I wasn't that much older. You and your family will forever have a special place in my heart. Your star will remain bright and forever give us peace. Lovingly, ZelmaI

Dearest Beloved Aunt Catherine,
I love you so much, will miss you with my whole heart, and truly wish I could be with the family during this time. Perhaps it wasn't meant to be, for whatever reason, I don't understand; I will hold you, Irene, and Gino in my thoughts and prayers throughout the weekend and beyond.
I have such wonderful memories visiting Michigan as a child, I will never forget. I can hear your voice now, Catherine, and so grateful to have spent some time with you last September.
Rest in peace Cataldina, no more suffering. Say hello to Uncle Etzio, Grandma Gabriella, Grandpa Lorenzo, Sister Renee, Uncle John, and all the Santias in heaven.
All my love from California, Suzanne Santia-Gorham

Mrs. Santia are Queen Bee: In life they say we should not be judged by those we have loved but by those whom have love us. In my life I have never ever experienced anyone that has given more Love or been more loved then you. I will always cherish all of our times together in the kitchen not realizing then you were not only teaching me how to prepare meals but also teaching me how to prepare myself for what lies ahead in my life. Be proud in knowing that you and Mr S have left a wonderful Legacy behind. The hearts and mines that you have touched are too many to count. My lessons from you learned in the kitchen and as well as in life I will cherished forever for you have made me a better person. You may no longer be here with us in physical form but rest assure you will always be in our hearts and mines forever. I will miss you Jack
