Rochester Hills - Henry Charles Metzger, "Chuck", age 85, of Rochester Hills, passed away March 5, 2018. Loving husband of the late Ardith (Ince) Metzger; dear father of Kym (Mark) Zanmiller, and Jennifer (Matt) Richter; caring grandfather of Jordan, Alice, Ben, Josh, and Nicole. Chuck was born the son of Henry and Grace (Rose) Metzger in Cleveland, Ohio on June 2, 1932. He grew up in Boston and joined the Air Force after high school. Chuck was stationed at Selfridge Air Base. Following discharge from the Air Force, Chuck earned his bachelor's degree from Wayne State University. He married Ardith Ince on May 26, 1956 in Detroit. Chuck raised his family with his wife in Southfield Michigan. Chuck was one of the early GM computer programmers and later worked at EDS.
