I was saddened to hear that Rich had passed away from a mutual friend, Chuck Formicola. Although I hadn't spoken to Rich for many years I always remembered his love of music and playing the drums. He was a good man!!

Peggy, just heard about Rich, we are so sadden to have lost such a good soul. I'll never forget when he played for Jon's party and his love of life. He made you happy just being around him. I'm sure that the music just got turned up a notch in Heaven!

Richard has been a part of my life for 47 years- a really GOOD part! Not once, in all those years did harsh words come between us. That is such a rare and beautiful thing, a truly blessed friendship. Richard was a kind man with a tremendous sense of humor. I miss him too much already. He will hold a place in my heart until our paths cross again. Good bye for now, dear pal.

There are so many things in my life that I am thankful for because of Rich. I first experienced swimming in the ocean, climbing sand dunes and camping in Muskegon because Rich and Peggy would take my brother and I along with them on their dating adventures. He really did enjoy having the young siblings tagging along. He opened the door at Bundy Corporation for me, which led to a career that I could never have imagined. I looked up to him like a father and at the same time, I saw him as a true friend. While he came from a conservative and quiet family, he fit right in with this wild and crazy Polish family. The holidays will not be the same without him, but we will be sure to add his humor and make the season bright as he would want. He always closed out the Christmas day party with...and so that was Christmas! This will forever be our tradition in his honor.
