Bob,
I am so sorry for the loss of your father. Your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My first memory of Bob was meeting him at the Wayne State "snack bar". Everyday a select unique group of intellects met there. I am pretty sure it was Jim Kasabowski who set me up. Jim said hey this guy coming in to sit with us is a friend from Cass Tech and ask him to tell you about the 500 pound blue gorilla. WOW What a mistake. Only Bob Naski could tell that story over and over and over again. I am sure right now Bob is telling St Peter that story with the promise of letting him in. Bob you are missed.

Bob has been my good friend since we met at Cass Tech, probably in Mr. Ellison's auto shop class in 1962. Of course Bob went on to be the service manager of the shop.
Then through years of college at WSU, we met almost everyday at the snack bar for food and fun.
After college, we continued to meet playing cards once a month. I had the pleasure of Bob's company just 6 weeks ago at our last card game.
Needless to say Bob will be missed by his family and many long time friends.

I first remember Bob as a teacher at Grissom when I was in seventh grade. He was funny and you always knew he cared. Years later we met again when I was a new teacher and a new building rep. and he was a veteran union leader. Again always funny, passionate and caring. When I became an administrator Bob was the WEA President. He was a passionate advocate, a caring colleague and always a loyal friend! I will miss him! Thanks for leaving a legacy Bob.
