Dear Bruce, Doug, and Patricia,

It has been a long time. Recognized your father right away when cruising through obit's in the Oakland Press. Good looking man and nice picture. So sorry for your loss! Always hard, but you were blessed to have him so long. I lost my parents way too young and sister, Debi, in 2013.

Just wanted to reach out and offer my condolences. I have wondered about you three from time-to-time. I have such fond memories of swim with AAU, YMCA and HHSC---and the old Rochester swim families, like the Featherstone's.. Doug, I remember a relay team at HHSC when we were 9-10 and swimming for Cuppy. He had nicknames for the 4 of us (Paul Karas, you, me and can't remember the 4th). Pretzel (me), soda crackers, potato chip and cupcake I think.

I live in Bloomfield with my wife of 38 years (Sue) and have three kids--29 year old twins (who both were swimmers). Also a 21 year old at MSU who plays soccer there.

I hope things are well for you, other than your recent loss of your father.

To the family and friends of Ronald, you have my deepest sympathy. Keep encouraging one another and building one another up, just as you are in fact doing.- 2Thessalonian 5: 11
