Sterling Heights - Maryann "Claudette" Tranchida, of Sterling Hts., Michigan passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the age of 70. She was born on April 6, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Thaddeus & Maryann (Banatowski) Marcola. Beloved wife of Jim Tranchida for 50 years. Loving mother of Paul (Jodi), Steve (Tina), Dan (Joy), Tracy (Steve Meredith) and Tammy (Matt White). Proud Nana of 13 grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Alyssa, Matthew, Justin, Logan, Blake, Preston, Brooklyn, Abigail, Carter, Charlotte and the late Bryce. Survived by siblings Thaddeus (Erika) Marcola, Dennis (Vera) Marcola, Connie (the late Hal) Kaufman, Kevin (Suzanne) Marcola, the late Ronald (Susan) Marcola and sister-in-law Rose Heider (the late Ron). Visitation Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (West of Hoover) Warren. Instate Thursday 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Blase Catholic Church (15 Mile/Maple Lane) Sterling Heights. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
