I learned of Mr. Plunkett's passing yesterday. I had the privilege of working with Tom Plunkett for 5 years at WWRP, P.C. My Prayers go out to his family at this time of loss. He was "old school"; very honest and forthright and always expected a job well done. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and had an unforgettable laugh. That is my favorite memory of him, that contagious laugh! He will be greatly missed. RIP Mr. Tom Plunkett.

An excellent attorney who was respected by all; a true gentleman at ALL times. Tom will always be remembered as a gentleman and practiced law with civility. I always appreciated the way he represented his clients to the best of his ability but remained professional throughout. Although I have not seen Tom in a few years since moving to Arizona, he will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family

The loss is yours; for he loses nothing, on the contrary his gain is great before God and man. He has put off like a shabby old coat - the mistakes, the heartaches, and the selfish grief's of this world, never to wear it again. Now is the time to recall all the wonderful things Saint Paul wrote about Heaven - all of which eyes hath not seen, nor ear heard - the description of which has never entered into the mind of man.

The heavens are being stormed on his behalf. I suspect the very first thing that will be said to tom when he finally comes face to face with Jesus is: Welcome, I heard my mother speak of you.

Tom has carried his cross in life well, as St. Francis said it has been blessed with his Holy Name, anointed with grace, and perfumed with His consolation. Please be at peace. Know that we turn our tears into dancing, and our nights into days as we celebrate his joining that number as the saints go marching in. A mass will be said at the Passionist Monastery for Tom.

Tom's compassion, abilities, commitment and skills saved northern Oakland County from becoming a toxic and hazardous waste dumping ground by one of the world's largest foreign corporations. Working with Township officials and residents he saved our only drinking water source for tens of thousands in Oakland and Genesee Counties for generations to come. Tom's personality had a special blend of being thoughtful, introspective, caring and tenacious. What a great person and role model!
