Biology with Mr. Maas was interesting and fun! He was a wonderful teacher and my favorite. I remember all the bones of the human body. Prayers and God's Blessings.

Bill Maas ignited my interest in biology and led to a BS and MS in Microbiology and over 30 years in university and pharmaceutical research labs.
Thanks for everything Bill. RIP

Mr Mass was one of those teachers that made biology interesting even if you were not so inclined to like the sciences. His smile, enthusiasm, and sense of humor were as much a part of the class as the dissecting of the frogs. Thank you, Mr Maas, Rest In Peace.

Science was not my favorite subject but I still remember the names of all the bones in the body, thanks to Doc Maas. He was an amazing teacher and a wonderful human being. Irene Rawlings, Fordson '64
