It was with great sadness that I read of Kester's passing. While he never went by Kester ( as I didn't) he will always be remembered as Kester for me. His mother Jen was my most cherished aunt (my wife Lucy still has a beautiful lamb wool coat from Jen that was passed down after my mother Clara died). As a family we will miss him and our deepest sympathies are extended to the family.

Kes was always concerned with people who worked for, with or around him. I was very surprised when my Mother passed to see Mary and Kes at the funeral in Jackson, MI. I knew him for about 30 years professionally and I never heard him say anything bad about anyone . I will pray for Mary and the family that they will be able to get over this great loss of a Husband , Father and Grandfather.

We will remember Kes as the most dignified and compassionate utility executive who always cared about the people he met and worked with. He was always gentle and showed respect to others' opinions. He truly will be missed by everyone he worked with. My heart-felt condolences to his family.
