I last saw Mr. Palmer about 30 years ago at a lunch spot in Detroit. We recognized each other from years before when our family and his were both relocated years eailier to the east cost for 4 to 5 years while my dad and Bill worked for the Detroit News. Bill was my dads best friend and confidant at the News, and I remember his sons being close to the same age as myself. Bill, as he asked me to call him, was always a pleasure to be around and a mans man. A really good guy! We reminisced for about 2 hours that day at lunch. My sincere condolences to the Palmer family.

God Bless the Palmer family on the loss of a nice man. The first death is not the second death Jesus said! In this time of grieving I wish the Palmer Family all the Blessings from the Lord.

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a great boss and a good friend. He always had words of wisdom when you had a problem. With deep sympathy.
