Billy McDaniel HALTOM CITY -- Billy McDaniel passed away July 10, 2018. He was 92. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 11 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Alpine Funeral Home. Billy was born June 20, 1926 in Saginaw, Texas. He attended North Side High School before serving in the Army during World War 2. Upon returning from active duty he met and married Barbara Ann Smith. He worked for General Industrial Supply Company until his retirement in 1988. Billy was a longtime member of Diamond Oaks Country Club. He enjoyed playing golf, cards and spending time with his friends. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Ann Smith, and his daughter, Donna Jo McDaniel Hardgrove. SURVIVORS: He is survived by sons, Billy Jr. and wife Martha; Bobby and wife, Paula; sister, Martha Bruner and husband, Kenneth; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

So glad to have such wonderful and fun memories of Bill and Gran.
We loved them both dearly just as my parents did.
My daddy couldn't have ask for a better friend than Bill.
Bill and Gran were loving to my Corby and myself.
We were so lucky to have them both in our lives.
