Daddy, you have been gone for 4 years now but you have never left my heart! I am seeing your great grand baby growing up, and I can only imagine how you would have embraced and loved her. You would be sooo proud of this sassy and feisty little miracle, I can hear your laugh and see your big smile, it breaks my heart that she did not get to meet you, you two would have been the perfect match to brighten every ones day. Miss you, miss you and will until we meet again.
Hugs and kisses

I will always cherish the memories of Mr. Freddie Walker. He was a kind, considerate, intelligent neighbor. He liked people, and would take the time to sit down and talk about life, church, family, sports, and politics. He loved reading the Newspaper, and his presence on Strong Street will be greatly missed.
I pray that God continues to bless the entire family, and that his wife, Mrs. Evelyn, will continue to carry the sweet, kind spirit, that compliments her existence.
Rufus, Lou Ann, and Ann Marie, "You have grown up with wonderful parents." Keep those fond memories with you forever.
Truly,
Lynn Robertson Lewis

I could write a book about this wonderful spiritual man. He and Mrs. Walker were the epitome of a Christian couple, grounded firmly in their faith. He had a kiss for my cheek every Sunday and when the devil became busy in my household, those kisses on the cheek were accompanied by bible verses of how a marriage is a blessing, but not without trials to make it stronger. He prayed for me and with me and as James and I eventually turned things around with much pray, Elder Walker still continued to talk to me as his own daughter about marriage. He was the only person that called me by my first name as he knew me from the very first day I was born. He was my Ram in the bush with the Elders at Community. My father, Rev. John Smith performed the nuptials for Elder and Mrs. Walker. I could go on and on....but just know I will miss you dearly, you'll always be in my heart, and I'm truly blessed and a better person to have known you, Mrs. Walker and your family.

Daddy, words cannot describe how much you will be missed. I will never forget your warm welcome of a scared German girl in 1979, your embrace, your kind words to welcome me into your family will always be a memory to cherish. I will miss your wisdom, your calm and sweet personality, your oh so calming voice, the way you let everybody know YOU were right, smile, and your tender heart. I will be missing you until we meet again. Love you

It was a very sad news, I received on Tuesday, that Fred Walker passed away. We used to work together at Stern Reed dental laboratory. He was managing partial department. Fred Walker was a very nice, kind man, loved by all the employees of the lab. When he retired, we all missed him. Missed his smile, his jokes. He stopped by to visit us several times with his beautiful wife Evelyn, who he loved very much. I want to bring my deepest condolence to his wife, children, grandchildren and the rest of the family. Rest In Peace, dear Fred. Memory of you will always stay in our hearts.
