Conant Dorothy Belle Conant, 88, of Delaware, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her home. She was born November 14, 1928 in Marion to the late Harold and Doris (Needles) Martindale. Dorothy was the Delaware County Recorder from 1968-1988. She enjoyed being a seamstress, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. Her greatest accomplishment and what she was most proud of was being a mother to her four children. She is survived by son, Ridgely Glenn (Christine) Conant of Litchfield, OH; daughter, Sheryl D. Conant of Delaware; daughter, Dottie (John) Fryman of Ostrander; son, Richard (Lori) Conant of Delaware; three grandchildren, Robert Conant, Megan Dennis, and Sam Fryman; four great grandchildren; half-sister, Hope Adams; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sherman R. Conant and brother Glenn Martindale. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME where the funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Griffin officiating. Sheryl and Rich, I just heard about your mother's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. She was such a wonderful wonderful woman. Loved her husband and children dearly and always a smile on her face.
