Mrs. Kearns was one of my role models when I was growing up at Clair United Methodist Church. She demonstrated the qualities of a beautiful and confident black woman, which gave me a reflection of who I could become. She will always be etched in my memories.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Kearns. She is one of the women I admired as a young girl growing up at Clair UMC. She was a sharpe dresser and always elegant. Rest well Mrs. Kearns and I know all the Saints of Clair welcomed you with open arms as you entered the gates of Heaven.
