John Logan Sebring Jr., 78, of Boonville, North Carolina, passed away at home on Sunday, February 21, and was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after several months of declining health. John died peacefully with his beloved wife Janet and daughter Rhonda by his side. John was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 21, 1942, to Father John Logan Sebring and Mother Ruth Hope (Fisher) Sebring. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Janet Lee (Westfall) Sebring; children, John Logan Sebring III and Rhonda Lee Kelly; his brother, Mark Sebring of Columbus, Ohio; and sisters, Melynnda White of Spring, Texas and Melanie Beth Sebring of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Sarah Ferullo, Logan Sebring, and Lauren Sebring; great-grandsons, Lucas, Maverick, Roman, and Theodore Ferullo; and great-granddaughters, Kendall and Chloe Sebring, and Sophia Claire Hope Ferullo born on 18 February 2021. A visitation for John will be on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 1-2pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service, 5108 US 601 Hwy, Yadkinville, NC 27055. All are invited to attend. The funeral will follow immediately at 2pm with Pastor Dairold Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by Yadkin VFW Post 10346. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to help offset medical/nursing home bills would be greatly appreciated. Janet, I am sorry to hear of your loving husband's passing, but victory is now his in heaven! My Mom, Shirley Holsclaw, wanted me to send her thoughts and prayers as well. We long for the day when covid is just a memory and we can come and visit with you, but until then know that we are thinking of you and your children.
