1921 - 2018
Marie Rose Tinder, 96, died in Columbus, OH, from natural causes on January 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Augusta and John Ertle, her husband Robert King Tinder, her brother John Ertle Jr., her best friend and cousin Arlys Kiesow; and other family members. She is survived by Bitsey Tinder; her daughters, Susan D. Tinder and Marcia A. (Steve) Bachman; her granddaughters, Julie E. and Alyson M. Bachman; her "adopted daughter", Chris Broas; and several nieces and nephews in Minnesota. Marie had such a sense of adventure and love for travel. "I have lived such a good life." She attributed this line to her daily chocolate and ice cream regiment. A special thank you to the staff at Brookdale Chestnut Hill and for Mike and Connie Pribonic for taking such great care for our mom. In lieu of flowers, consider contributing to Columbus Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct, Hilliard, OH, 43026. Arrangements are entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH, 43230. A visitation will be held from 9-10am on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230, followed by a celebration of life at 10am.
