1921 - 2018
Myrtle Lee Brown, age 96, a longtime resident of North Linden, died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Columbus Colony Elderly Care. She was retired from Nationwide Insurance and was a charter member of North Linden Baptist Church. She also had formerly volunteered at Corbin Commons and St. Paul Elementary. She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard "Brownie" Brown, parents William and Jessie Rogers, sisters Mildred, Zana, Goldie, Bernice, and Lelia, brothers Dexter, Ed, James, Verlon, and Jo. She is survived by her son, Ed Brown; daughter-in-law, Mary Brown; grandson, Josh (Amanda Groetzinger) Brown; special niece, Teana Christopher; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Hope & Heart Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, funeral service will take place at 9:30 am Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Lawn Cemetery, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus.
