Our sincere condolences to the Brownstein Family. Dave was a mentor who taught me the importance of rigor, discipline and the attention for detail in any work that I took on. He was a smart, intelligent and kind leader who I will always remember throughout my work life. I have had dinner at his Circus House that he and Erica were in the middle of renovating and have had dinner at their place for Thanksgiving. You will be missed, Dave. Rest in Peace, Sir!

I just learned of Dave's passing this morning. He was a wonderful mentor to me early in my IT career at NewMedia, and we remained good friends ever since. I've rarely come across a more caring, open, affable, and genuine person. He will be missed.

I am very grateful for meeting Dave. He offered me my first job out of college in Sept 1994. His guidance is still something I treasure which continues to guide me in my career.
In addition, his love of scotch, cigars, and home restoration and preservation will always be with me.

I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. I knew him at Tai Chi. When I was recovering from knee surgery, he was so very kind and teaching to me while I did the routine in a chair. Always cheerful and inclusive of everyone.
Peace be with you all.

So sorry to learn of David's passing. He and I spent many Victorian Village Commission evening meetings together. The Brownsteins also followed us from Victorian Village to Bexley. I will have many fond memories of our conversations. The planet is a bit lonlier for me knowing that David is not still with us. Best to Erica and the children.

My Condolences to Erica and children. Dave and I shared many Columbus Venture Network meetings in the late 1990's and early 2000's. He was vital to our group and helpful to many nascent startups in Central Ohio. I was one of David's clients when he was at NewMedia in the early 1990's. We would often get together for lunch, or for a tour of the Circus House renovation of which he was very proud. I like smart and honest people, which fit David to a "T". Its been about a decade since we've spoken, and I regret getting so wrapped up in my own affairs that I didn't reach out more. He touched many people during his brief time here. All would say what a good man he was.
Hope to run into him somewhere down the road.

Rest in peace, David. You taught us what courage and strength are, and I always smiled when I saw you in Tai Chi class on Wednesday mornings. When you weren't there, it just wasn't the same.
