Scott Fisher, 56, was born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 26, 1960, to Fred Fisher and Madelyn "Ming" Sickles Fisher. He passed away on September 11, 2017. Scott was a graduate of Grand River Academy in 1979. After graduation, he worked for Bank One Trust before moving to Virginia and working in the ship yards. Along with his parents, Scott is survived by his sister, Melinda Fisher Bertl (Brooks); nieces, Madelyn Kay Bertl and Megan Anne Matte; and many special friends. He is preceded in death by his sister Melanie Fisher Matte, grandparents Trent D. and Marjorie L. Sickles. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 E. State Street in Columbus. I assisted Scott with his medications and overall care management. He was a jovial individual who always found humor even in the worst situations. I will miss our visits. May God keep and comfort his family.
