Well Rod I remember the NAC days when you used to call Solly Garner after the first flight to Blenheim just to tell him how many pax were and how much freight was on it. Those were the days... will always remember your very dry sense of humour. Am sure all those cards and invitations were lost in the hedge. My sincere condolences Ann. Rest In Peace Rod.

I had the pleasure of working with Rodney for many years at Air NZ. He taught me all about how to make the tea...yip 6 teabags up to the sludge mark. Will always remember your dry sense of humour and the laughs we shared over the years.

A fine work colleague, friend and golfing mate. I hope you catch up with the gully god from the 13th hole at Wainuiomata golf course who took your ball every game.. he owes you a beer or two!!

I spent many an enjoyable hour in your company when we both worked for Air New Zealand. We discussed numerous topics but usually it came back to cricket ,which we both played for the company team, and the fortunes of West Ham United.
You always made sure that the office teapot was kept filled and I might had made properly. Which it never was after your retirement.
