Blanch was the wonderful wife of a great Coast Guardsman Arnie and I always have fond happy memories of them playing cards in Sturgeon Bay....Her late great son, David and I joined the Marine Corps together in 1961 and always greeted each other, "166 on the road". All Davin talked about was Blanche, his wonderful mother and his siblings.....what a wonderful family.

Blanche and I were to make a road trip to Washington Island this summer like David and I did many times.

Dee, David and Blanche.....what wonderful people.
Thank you for the memories.

Aloha Oe,

Tom Schmidt

It was an honor to know Nana Blanche, to do church with her and to see her smiling face every Sunday. Please except my sincere condolences on your families loss.
