Amelia Rodriguez
November 3, 1926 - December 20, 2020
Resident of Walnut Creek, CA
Our mother Amelia Rodriguez passed away at the age of 94 - peacefully in her daughter Yoli's loving arms with a final tear rolling down.On December 20, 2020, She ascended into heaven and is reunited with her husband Miguel and her son Richard.
Born in San Francisco November 3, 1926 Amelia was the 4th out of 10 children; a large, loving family. She spoke of her life with enthusiasm. The stories she told and the traditions she has handed down will never be forgotten. She showed us the importance of enjoying the moment, creating experience, and honoring family and friends. Her joy of cooking with grace and sharing her table with open arms always brought a smile. She enjoyed watching you eat; it made her happy. She taught us to laugh, love and "bring em home and feed em". Our mama's family recipes will live on in her family and friends. If you were lucky to enjoy her cooking, you knew it was made with love.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, Auntie Bonnie, and friend.
She is Survived by her sons Michael, Bill, and Rudy; daughters Yolanda R. Gross and Michelle Rodriguez; son-in-law Stephen Gross; daughter-in-law's Sandy Rodriguez and Wendy Rodriguez. Her 4 grandchildren were her pride and joy - Michael, Sarah and her husband John, Taylor, and Sherina; 2 great-grandchildren Keleb and Anthony. She loved all of her nieces and nephews so much.
We will honor you in how we live and who we are. Mama you are forever in our hearts.
Private burial will take place January 20, 2021. The Rodriguez family will have a Celebration Of Life in honor of Amelia in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Dementia Society of American.

Auntie Bonnie will always be in my heart and part of the foundation of the person I am today. She always showed her loving ways towards to me, my parents, brothers and sisters. Thank you for being a roll model to all of us. Love you always.
