Beverly Jean Freeman
Dec. 1, 1938 - Dec. 30, 2020
Resident of Pleasanton
Beverly Freeman left this earth on December 30th under a bright full moon. She was a long time Pleasanton resident who LOVED her community and church, St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was a fun-loving, bright spirit, people person with a green thumb who could bake the most delicious candied yams on the planet. Aside from being an excellent cook, she was a former charm school teacher, member of the Fashion Board at Southland Shopping Center, freelance model, department head for the Golden Spike Restaurant, member of the Levine Hospital Auxiliary, men's furnishing manager at Liberty House in Hayward, and her most recent was volunteering at Open Heart Kitchen in Pleasanton, we are so proud of her accomplishments. She was a bright light for many and will be dearly missed. She left behind a daughter, three loving grandchildren and one very special great grandchild. - "Happy Days are Here Again" Annette Hanshaw

Bev was a very special lady & I will truly miss her. She had such a big heart, great sense of humor, a great friend that would do anything for you. Through the years we shared a lot of laughs & shed tears together too. I miss Bev but am glad she is finally at peace & is no longer suffering.

We will miss seeing her in the yard everyday, and the great tomatoes and cucumbers left on the porch. She is in our prayers and we wish you peace in your sorrow... Mary and her son Mike Fisher
