Like many of the others I too was in the BA band with Doc and Karl. Many good memories of those times and all memories of Doc are so pleasant. I had the privilege of speaking to him on the phone just a few months ago. Still the same sweet guy. Doc will be missed by many.

Many prayers for family and friends. We at Bel Air have very fond memories of our time with him helping Karlton Hester lead the Hilander Band. Sweet memories. God Bless you Terri Navar Anthony. Class of '67

Doc and Karl were great Drum Majors and I later fashioned my being one to what they had done.Ironically when I got out of the military I sought a waiters job at The Iron Tender and yes,Doc was the manager.I was hired right then.Later we resumed our friendship on FaceBook. All of these years Doc was always a friend! My most sincere condolences Teri and the family.
