Everyone in our Class of 1963, Davenport Central HIgh School, will truly miss Ed.

He was a great person and full of fun.

I will keep his family in my prayers.

I was always very honored that Edward allowed me to call him "Eddie." I also appreciated the words of encouragement and guidance when my teaching career morphed into a management position. I really enjoyed being his Spanish teacher. Eddie, I hope you are speaking Spanish to God.....we will miss you very much.....

I worked for Ed in El Paso. He was a wonderful boss, charming, funny, a gentleman to the core. I enjoyed him and his sense of humor so much. I remember when he got into the moment at the Candlelighter's live auction and purchased not just one, but two black lab puppies because he didn't want to separate them. That's the heart he had.

I remember his concern for me when I was first diagnosed with Lupus; again, a kind heart.

I am heartbroken to hear of his passing; he and his family will be in my prayers. He was one of the good guys.
