I just learned of the passing of this awesome man. He was a great friend and co-worker and I was a fan of his books. But more than that he was a US Marine..that was an instant bond for this country girl from SC who missed her Marine dad and a wily prospector type personality of the desert rat professor that I knew Tom to be...Thank you Lord for Tom Abbott and the funtimes he made for us at Prepared Food..he was a lot of things but he was a dear friend..Fly high Tom...Semper Fi, Marine.
