El Paso - Frances Adelle Walker 85, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.

Frances was born in Cuba, Missouri on September 1, 1935. She was the last surviving of 10 siblings. She married her teenage sweetheart, William (Bill) Walker, on June 6, 1953. Frances was loved by all who were lucky enough to meet her. It is said she never met a stranger because within a minute they were her friend. She was a long-time Girl Scout Leader, earning one of the highest awards for bringing the first Girl Scout cookies to military bases in Germany. She was the President of the Carrera Region of the Porsche Club of America for many years and also showed her car in many concourse events. She loved to bowl and play softball. She coached Bobby Sox softball and pitched in fast and slow pitch leagues. She was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Walker. She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, William Walker, daughters Patricia Adams and Janet Walker. Grandchildren Jennifer Eldridge, Kelly Scharmack, Will Gardea, JC Gardea and Great grandchildren Quinn and Connor Eldridge, Koa and Kai Scharmack. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. Family may not be present during visitation due to social distancing requirements. We understand how much she meant to so many people and are therefore holding a visitation, allowing those who wish to do so the opportunity to pay their last respects. Please sign the guest register so the family is aware of everyone that paid last respects to our dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society. Family only: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr.






Frances Adelle Walker, de 85 años, falleció el jueves 24 de diciembre del 2020. Frances nació en Cuba, Missouri el 1 de septiembre de 1935. Fue la última superviviente de 10 hermanos. Se casó con su novio adolescente, William (Bill) Walker, el 6 de junio de 1953. Frances fue amada por todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerla. Se dice que nunca conoció a un extraño porque en un minuto eran su amigo. Fue Líder de Girl Scouts durante mucho tiempo, y ganó uno de los premios más importantes por llevar las primeras galletas de Girl Scout a bases militares en Alemania. El velorio se llevará a cabo de 1:00 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. el sábado 16 de enero del 2021 en Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, en el 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. Es posible que la familia no esté presente durante las visitas debido a requisitos de distanciamiento social.
