I met Don in early December. He was roommates with my father at the nursing home. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing, when I met him he was so sweet, and gave me the longest and most sincere handshake I've ever received. I'm sorry I didn't get to see him again, but his obituary was a wonderful testament to how amazing of a person he was.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is always so very hard to lose a loved one in death. Our loving Heavenly Father is very aware and understand your painful loss. He will listen to your pleas for help, because he is near to all those calling on him. He will hear your cry for help and give you comfort. Your family have my deepest condolences. PSALMS 86:6-7

Dear Dad, Your last few years have been difficult and with much suffering. You are now in the arms of the Lord...no more sorrows or pain. I am thinking of you. Very grateful for you and even more thankful that you knew the Lord. I remember when I was a young woman and you wrote me a letter to tell me how you had gone through much trials but had turned your life towards God. That was a good turning point in your life. A few years after that you met Carol and had many good years together in your marriage. I am happy that you found a loving spouse to share the rest of your life with. Now you are experiencing the joys of heaven. I am looking forward to our heavenly home where we can share eternal life together. I am sad that I cannot attend your service. However, I am so thankful we were able to have some quality time when I came to visit with you when you were still in your Maxwell home. My love to you. May you rest in peace. Your daughter, Jo Donna

I know that Donald will be missed. As God "heals the brokenhearted," may you all be comforted by this loving promise. (Psalm 147:3) Many thoughts are with the family
