Cynthia Montgomery
Cynthia Montgomery, 63, of Lopatcong Township, passed away suddenly and tragically on Saturday, May 16, 2020, in Bethlehem, PA.
Cynthia "Cyndy" was born on Long Island to Richard and Doris Sutton on June 8, 1956.
She graduated from Farmingdale High School, where she met her future husband. Cyndy married Bob Montgomery on September 30, 1983, and they had 36 blissful years of marriage together. You may recognize her from Piazza Farms, where she spent 17 years, or VonThun Farms, where she worked most recently. Everyone who worked with her adored her, and she greeted everyone with her beautiful smile.
Cyndy loved her family tremendously, and she loved going on long walks with her Goldendoodle, Dylan. She loved the beach and had big plans to retire to the shores of Delaware with Bob. Those who were lucky enough to know her, are well aware of how wonderful of a person she was. Cyndy was the most positive person, she found joy in everything, and loved life so much.
In addition to her husband, Bob she is survived by her daughter, Aly; brother, Scott Sutton; mother, Doris Sutton; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends that will miss her dearly.
Funeral services are private under the direction of Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc. Expressions of sympathy may be offered at

Still in shock from the call I just received from my daughter informing me of Cyndy's tragic passing. Meeting as neighbors in Hillsborough in the 1990s where Aly showed Ben bumble bee catch & release to the Montgomery family re-locating to Lopat, my home town where I returned a few years later. I always loved running into her -- Piazza's, Shop Rite... such a vibrant woman with an infectious smile; gregarious, creative; energetic; loving. How she loved Aly; How she loved Bob. How she embraced life! Words can not begin to express the sadness upon hearing this devastating news. My heart goes out to her family. Thinking of you and lifting you in prayer, Bob and Aly. My deepest condolences.

Heartfelt condolences to Cyndy's family and friends. I knew her only from Piazza's, and though I didn't know her well, that certainly was not how it felt! She was so genuine and welcoming. And because of that, I'm sure she will be remembered by many people. Such a devastating loss of a wonderful person. Rest in peace, sweet Cyndy.

Bob, Aly, and Family,
It has been our pleasure to know Cyndy. From the days back when Aly rode Rajah, meetings at Piazza's, and running into each other at Shop Rite Cyndy was like a breath of fresh air to talk with. Always smiling and always upbeat. We will always keep her in our thoughts and in our hearts. We were fortunate to have met her and you. Our sincere condolences.

I did not know Cynthia personally but do remember her from Piazza farms. She was very friendly and always smiling. We spoke briefly about a shared interest in books and dogs. My condolences to her family.
