Dean M. Litzenberger
Dean M. Litzenberger, 56, formerly of Raubsville, PA passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 in his temporary residence in Springfield Twp., PA.
He was born September 23, 1964 in Wilson Borough, PA, a son of the late W. Robert Litzenberger and Lois Litzenberger Altemose.
Dean was a 1982 graduate of Palisades High School and earned an Associates Degree in Construction Technology from Williamsport Community College.
He was last employed as a CDL driver for Kramer Trucking in Pleasant Valley, PA. Prior to that he worked as a project manager for Shelly's Lumber, Eckman Lumber and Triangle Lumber. Dean had served as an EMT for the Riegelsville and Quakertown Emergency Squads and as Fire Chief for the Riegelsville Fire Company. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Durham. In his earlier years, he enjoyed working on the family farm and in vegetable gardens. Dean was very proud of his daughter, Grace, and being a "skate dad". His greatest joy and what he loved to do the most was watching her figure skate.
He will be missed by his daughter, Grace; his mother, Lois Altemose and stepfather, Jim; his brothers Dennis (Debbie) and Douglas (Kimberly).
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Riegelsville Fire Company, 333 Delaware Rd., Riegelsville, PA at 1 p.m. followed by interment of ashes in the Durham Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the fire company, PO Box 185, Riegelsville, PA 18077. Arrangements by Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, Riegelsville.

so sorry to hear this. Dean and I bonded in High School. Although I have not seen him often when we chatted it was like we just saw each other yesterday. He spoke such kind words to me when my Dad and Uncle died. His words were very helpful. I wish there was some magic words I could say to Grace , his Mother and the rest of his family to make them feel better but we know there are none. Prayers to all of you.

I am so very sad to learn of Dean's passing. He was a childhood chum at Durham Elementary as well as a neighbor in Riegelsville, years later. Condolences to Mr.and Mrs. Altemose and Grace.

Our last memory of Dean was seeing him greet everyone on Easter Sunday as we entered Durham Church where he worshipped with his family. He looked so good and renewed ! The Lord delights when we change our lives for the better. May happy memories of good times spent together sustain his loved ones in the days ahead.
