F. Violet McFadden
LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ
F. Violet McFadden, 99, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2020, at the Brakeley Park Care Center.
Born on June 15, 1921, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward P. and Dorothy E. (Lippincott) Gallagher. Violet was predeceased by her husband, John P. McFadden, who passed on April 29, 1976.
Violet was a graduate of St. Philip and James Parochial High School and St. Peter's Hospital School of Nursing in New Brunswick, NJ.
Following graduation, she worked at Warren Hospital, then in offices of Obstetricians and Gynecology in Easton, PA, and also for Dr. Vincent Burell and Dr. M S Durrani in Phillipsburg, NJ. She was a member of the Warren Hospital Auxiliary for over 45 years, the Catholic Daughters of America, Sunny Seniors, and the St. Peter's University Alumni Association.
She is survived by her son, John P. "Chip" McFadden and his wife, Pamela, and her nieces, Mary Ann Ihrie and Michelle Litke.
Services are to be held privately. The Finegan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
