Kathleen M. Kern
BUSHKILL TOWNSHIP
Kathleen M. Kern, 86, formerly of Bushkill Township, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, while in the care of Heather Glen Senior Living in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Kern, with whom she shared 56 loving years of marriage prior to his passing 2006.
Born in Wind Gap, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ethel (Weidman) Mack. Kathleen was employed by A & H Sportswear in Stockertown, where she worked as a seamstress before retiring in 2015. Prior to that, she worked for Ed-Rose Fashions in Bangor.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tammy Snyder and husband Scott of Fogelsville; grandchildren, Sherrie Schmidt, Brandy Schaeffer, Dustin Snyder, and Holly Kunkle; great-grandsons, Raymond and John Schmidt, and Nathan Kunkle; sister, Alice Kessler of Bangor; and brothers, Elwood Mack of Wind Gap, and David Mack and wife Nadesda of Dyke, VA. In addition to her late husband, Raymond, she was predeceased by her son, William E. Kern, in 2002, brothers, Lynwood Mack and Roland Weidman, and sisters, Althea Hinton and Leona Davanzo.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered in memory of Kathleen to Forgotten Felines and Fidos, 6022 Mountain Road, Germansville, PA 18053.

Sorry to hear of Kathleen's passing - our deepest condolences and prayers. She was a special lady and certainly in heaven! She would always talk to us when we would drive by and she was out in the yard.
Every once in a while she would bring muffins or cookies to our house - we and our children loved her.
