Richard H. Statler
EASTON
Richard H. Statler, 83, of Easton passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, in ManorCare, Palmer Township.
Born November 3, 1936, in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Elmer and Mary (Youngkin) Statler.
He graduated from Easton High School Class of 1954 and served with the US Marines.
Richard was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for 50 years working out of the Easton and Palmer post offices.
He was a Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR fan and an avid reader.
Surviving are two sisters, Janet Rush of Millersburg, PA, and Gloria Curtis of Easton; two brothers, Alan Statler of Allentown and Tim Statler of Freemansburg; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Tom Statler.
Private services are under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.

Although it's been years since we have been in each other's presence, I must say I only have good memories of uncle dick.
I used to love going to visit with my dad to watch the Dallas cowboys...you are missed

On behalf of the Easton High Class of 1954 I wish to express our condolences to Richard's family. Richard was very faithful in attending all of our breakfasts, picnics, reunions, etc. that we held over the years. He will be sorely missed by all. The family will be in our prayers.
