Raymond L. Raub III
HARMONY TOWNSHIP, NJ
Raymond L. Raub III, 69, a life-long resident of Harmony Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020, at his home. He was surrounded by family and friends.
Raymond was born in Easton, PA, on March 13, 1950, to the late Raymond L. Raub Jr. and Nellie Mayberry Raub.
Raymond was a graduate of Belvidere High School. In his early years, Raymond farmed, drove truck, and became a truck mechanic. He married his best friend, Gail A. Raub, in October of 1979. Raymond and Gail were inseparable. Together, they owned and operated Rauby's Garage Inc. of Phillipsburg for over 15 years. In 1998, he went back to his roots and started farming again under Sunny Hill Farm, LLC of Harmony Township. Upon retirement in 2016, Raymond and Gail traveled the U.S., in their motor home, visiting friends and family.
Raymond was a member of the Harmony Township Lions Club.
Raymond is survived by sons, Raymond L. Raub IV of Colorado and Christopher Hughes Raub of Seattle, WA; daughter, Patricia Emily Raub Eldridge and her husband, Joseph, of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, J.C. Raub, Raymond L. Raub V, Camden William Raub, Ethan Raymond Raub, Carristen Makala Eldridge, Liberty Rose Eldridge, and Ella Grace Eldridge; a sister, Lois Attinello of Phillipsburg, NJ, and a niece, Cindy Attinelllo of Phillipsburg. Raymond was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Gail A. Hughes Raub, who passed away in May 2017.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorials to be made in Raymond's name to Warren Glen Academy, 45 County Road 519, Bloomsbury, NJ 08804.
